	Why was Valuing People Now written? Since 'Valuing People' in 2001 things have got better for many people with learning disabilities. But some things have not changed as much as we wanted them to. For example, a report called 'Healthcare for All' said that things need to change so that people with learning disabilities get good healthcare. People with learning disabilities and their families tell us that they are still not getting the help and support that they need.
