The Strategic Health Authority are asking all Learning Disability Partnership Boards to do a “Health Check” of their services. This is to make sure that we are doing what we should be doing for the health needs of people who have learning disabilities. |
As well as telling them what we think, it is important that we include what people with learning disabilities and their carers think. |
On the 30th March we are holding a special ‘Healthy Lives’ meeting. The Healthy Lives group is an advisory group to the Partnership Board. It is a well attended and very productive group. |
We would like to invite around six carers who have experience of learning disability health services in Walsall to attend the meeting and help us complete the assessment. |
The meeting will be on from 10.30am until 12.30pm, with lunch afterwards. Anyone who is interested in helping us can call Sam Davies on 01922 650367 for more details. | |
